Naked Velvet was founded at the beginning of 2018, and is based in Hull, England. The aim was to create a range of vintage inspired items that can be customized to fit all shapes and sizes.

The business was created by owner Caroline, with help from the Princes Trust. Caroline always had an interest in fashion from a young age and decided to further her studies after school, gaining a Distinction with a BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design (Fashion and Clothing). After this she attended University through Hull School of Art and Design, with which she finished with a First Class Honours in BA (Hons) Fashion.

Caroline approached the Princes Trust during 2017 to ask for guidance with starting a business, and Naked Velvet was created.

The hope for the future is to build the business and gain some loyal customers along the way.
